Western Farm Cetner was founded in 1967 and owned and operated by brothers Lou and Larry Bertolini for most of this time.  Both brothers grew up only blocks from where the store resides now.  The neighborhood and taking care of their customers was always a priority to both brothers.  Larry passed in 2012 and Lou in 2016.  Keeping Western Farm Center local and family owned was important and after Lou passed, the business transitioned to Lou's daughter and son-in-law (Maria and Trevor Frampton) who run the store today, keeping the traditions of focusing on customers and their animals the primary focus of our business.  

In 1967 the business started out focusing almost entirely on feed and seed.  Eventually as the city changed and pets became a bigger aspect of our customer needs, we've transitioned from majority feed and seed to majority pet.  But our roots are still in the feed business.  We still stock hay and feeds to feed your chickens, goats, sheep, pigs, horses, llams, birds, and all other manner of farm animals.   But now we also sell over 50 different brands of dog and cat foods, kibble, cans and raw frozen.  

We continually look to find new ways to better serve our customers.  We've installed self-wash dog washing stations which have been incredibly well received and are operating every day.  We've launched both a curb-side pick up service and a home delivery service.  We hope to find more ways to increase what we can do for our customers and we are always open to suggestions.
